Programs

GOLF FOR GROWTH offers spring golf clinics and summer golf camps to empower youth ages 7-14 (2nd grade through 8th grade) by helping them develop healthy life skills.

SPRING GOLF CLINIC: Held during the month of April, coinciding with the Masters Tournament, golf clinics are a full day of fun, games and golf inspiration. Youth and parents participate in various golfing activities and meet our staff and mentors. Spring clinics also serve as the launch for our summer golf camp registrations, which fill up quickly — so be sure to sign up early!

SUMMER GOLF CAMPS. We offer two summer golf camps for youth ages 7-14 (2nd grade through 8th grade). Each camp consists of two 6-hour sessions per week over three weeks (total of six sessions). Participants learn golf fundamentals such as driving, chipping, and putting, playing 9 holes in the first two weeks and 18 holes in the final week. Youth walk the course for exercise and experience riding in golf carts in the final session (with adult supervision). Parents and family are invited to join in the fun as our spectator fans for the final game.

PATHWAYS FOR PERSONAL GROWTH

CORE VALUES: Building confidence and integrity on and off the golf course. Applying golf lessons to life, family, school and community.

TEAMBUILDING: Encouraging healthy competition through fair play. Teaching players to support and inspire each other through collaboration, sportsmanship and ages-old golfing etiquette.

MENTORSHIP: Empowering young players to connect with mentors who can guide them both in golf and life. Learning golf fundamentals from local mentors and guest golf pros.

CONNECTIONS: Fostering social connections bringing players together in our communities. Creating meaningful friendships in a fun, safe and supportive environment.

FAIR PLAY ON THE FAIRWAYS

At GOLF FOR GROWTH our motto is fair play on the fairway. Competitive sports for youth today can be a mixed bag of positive and detrimental outcomes. Often, youth who want to play sports face obstacles such as their families not having the financial means, not being considered top athlete picks by school teams or experiencing coach favoritism. These barriers prevent youth from accessing healthy experiences in sports or may cause emotional discouragement, leading them to lose interest. Our mission is to change these unfair practices so common in youth sports today.

TEEING UP FOR THE FUTURE

Whether you're a young golfer looking to learn or a mentor ready to give back, golf is a sport that builds character, connection and opportunity for life.
